Pierrot represents the innocent heart of the Commedia troupe, embodying pure integrity and kindness. With a deep affection for animals and nature, he carries a poetic spirit. An orphan, Pierrot endures hard labor under his master—often the village baker—living in worn clothes, frequently hungry and tired, yet always maintaining a gentle and helpful disposition. Columbine cares for him with a nurturing affection, offering food and comfort whenever possible.
